What is authority to leave?Updated 2 months ago
Authority to leave is a service offered by Australia Post that allows your parcel to be delivered without requiring a signature or someone to be present at the time of delivery.
If you choose to enable authority to leave, the delivery driver will leave your parcel in a safe location at your address. If no suitable safe place is found, your parcel will be taken to the nearest post office for collection.
For higher value purchases, we suggest selecting signature required, as we and Australia Post aren't liable for stolen parcels once delivery is completed.
